Potosi and Uyuni to San Pedro

from incredibly cheap la paz to potosi... the old mine town... it got even cheaper... potosi used to be one of the biggest and richest cities in the world, after they found huge amounts of silver... but these days.. after the silver was taken by the spanish and 8million slaves had to die... they give the mine 20more years... and the place will turn into a ghost town... we did the mine tour, blow some dynamite up and saw some of the workers work in horrible conditions...

after potosi, the next stop was uyuni... a little desert place, with 40 adventure agencies but no atm... take off for spectacular 4wd tours into the salt flats of uyuni and down south to chile... this trip was insane.. white salt flats as far as u can see... loosing all perspective... katus... flamingos in colorful lagunes in the middle of nowhere ... active volcanos... stone trees... geyser...desert! -15 to 35° and toilets that dont flush... and it was me against 5americans, but we had a great time :)
